Theater director Reza Haddad passed away


According to Fars News Agency, the Iranian Theater Directors Association announced on Friday: Reza Haddad, a famous Iranian theater director, passed away on Friday, May 29, 1402.

In its announcement, the Guild of Iranian Theater Directors expressed its condolences to the Iranian theater community, his colleagues and his family.

Reza Haddad, a theater director from Tehran University of Art and Architecture, was born in Abadeh in 1348. He started his career in theater directing in 1365. Haddad had a history of numerous performances abroad and received international awards. He is known for making post-modern works and for using visual symbols added to the scene for more impact on the audience.

The shows “Revelation about a silent party”, “We came, we didn’t, we left” and “No one remembers all the stories” are among Haddad’s works as a director. He also has the experience of acting in the play “Garden of Death” directed by Siamak Ahsaei in 2009.

A member of the founding board of “Sunlight Theater”, the secretary of the first period of “Director’s Festival”, the supervision of the Sayeh Theater Group and the Aftab Theater Group are among the other records of this late artist.
