He said: Our goal of holding the 26th Congress of the Iranian Urology Society is to update urology by exchanging information and learn about new technologies so that we can provide better services to the society in this field.

This urology specialist said: The urology society of Iran has divided the field of urology into seven specialized branches, and in this congress, the specialists of these branches of urology will exchange their opinions with each other.

Arshadhi said: In this congress, one of the common problems that will be discussed; Urinary tract stones. This problem can affect children under one year old to the elderly.

The president of the 26th Congress of Urological Society of Iran stated: The occurrence of urinary tract stones in each person has its own reasons. This disease is seen in all provinces, but in some provinces it is observed more due to the climatic conditions.

He noted: the methods of treating urinary tract stones have undergone a huge evolution in the last thirty years; In such a way that in patients with this disease, open surgery is required for treatment in less than 5% of cases, and treatment is often done with new extra-organ and intra-organ methods, which are minimally invasive and have a shorter recovery period, and the person can return to life faster. return to normal.

Arshadhi continued: Performing an open surgery to treat urinary tract stones has its own complications, and if needed, it becomes more difficult to perform the procedure again due to the adhesion that occurs.

This urologist said: Fortunately, the incidence of urinary tract stones in children under one year is very low, but because babies have special conditions, their treatment is more difficult and requires more experience.
