The head of the Greater Tehran Traffic Police Information Center announced that in the early hours of this morning, highways in Tehran were facing problems due to heavy traffic.

Colonel Sharifi added: Babaei highway in the east-west direction from Imam Ali (a.s.) highway, Yadgar Imam (RA) highway in the south-north direction from Gulab, Allameh highway from Dehkdeh, Shahid Zainuddin highway in the east-west direction from Imam highway. Ali (a.s.) and Siraj, Imam Ali (a.s.) highway on the south-north route from Gulshandoost also have heavy traffic.
He explained: Allameh highway, Shahid Haj Qassem Soleimani highway in the east-west direction from before Sayad bridge, Sadr highway in the east-west direction from Nowbanyad, south-north Chamran road in Hakim to Hemet section, west-east road from Gulha and Azadrah on the west-east route from Chitgarh and Azadegan are also facing heavy traffic in the morning.
He said: The route from south to north of Nawab from 9th Day, Azadi Street from west to east from Yadgar and Jhanbazan from Imam Reza Square also have heavy traffic. Inside the Tawheed tunnel, the traffic is regular and moving.
