Tse interest rates rose

According to Tejarat News, the statistics announced at the end of the second week of December regarding the interest rate showed an upward trend in two markets and a downward trend in other markets. In the most important of them, interest rates in the interbank market had a downward trend and decreased compared to the previous week.
Rising interest rates in the housing market
Housing Bank facility bonds are sold to loan applicants in order to obtain loans. The price of these bonds has been determined in the buying and selling market, which has recorded an upward trend in the last week. According to the rules of buying and selling in this market for single and married applicants, and considering the ceiling for buying bonds for each of them, the interest rate has also gone through an increasing path this week.
In this regard, according to calculations, the real interest rate on TSE bonds has reached 22.4 percent and has increased by 0.2 percentage points compared to the previous week.
Reducing interest rates in the government bond auction market
In the primary bond auction market, the government sold its bonds to banks and investment institutions to cover its budget deficit. This route can be considered as a non-inflationary route due to the lack of money printing in it and in this regard, it has more important benefits for the society.
Interest rates and maturity dates in this market are the factors that make bond buying attractive for customers in this market. Statistics in the second week of December show that interest rates in this market have slightly decreased compared to the previous week and have reached 21.6 percent. However, increasing the maturity of bonds is a more important factor to reduce the number of customers buying in this market and banks have no participation this week.
Stop the trend of rising interest rates
In the interbank market, banks also expand and attract liquidity by trading with each other. The maturity date in this short-term market and its interest rate fluctuates in the range of 14 to 22 percent, which is determined by the central bank. In this regard, in recent weeks, regular loans have decreased significantly and the interbank interest rate has reached 21.06 percent.
Meanwhile, interest rates in this market have been rising in recent weeks and had reached a record in the past year with a record of 21.09 percent.
