Unauthorized pet market is organized

According to Fars news agency; Saeed Beigi, Managing Director of Samandehi Industries and Businesses of the City Company, explained about the organization of the place for buying and selling pets on the side of Azadegan highway: For some time, gatherings for buying, selling and sometimes treating animals were held on the side of Azadegan highway, Ahmedabad Mostofi exit. To prevent these gatherings, educational banners were installed by the organizing company and the municipality of the region.

The CEO of Tehran Industries and Business Organization Company, stating that gatherings of buying and selling pets in this place can cause the spread of common diseases that can be transmitted from animals to humans, said: organizing and dealing with the establishment of this unauthorized market with the aim of maintaining health public and health of citizens and also prevent any possible abuse by profit-seeking people.

Begi further advised the citizens; Avoid getting and buying pets from unknown and different people due to the possibility of supplying sick or stolen animals, and for this purpose, proceed through centers approved by the Veterinary Organization.
