Unregistered marriages are a serious problem in Golestan – Mehr News Agency Iran and world’s news

According to Mehr reporter, Hamidreza Mati said in Golestani managers on Saturday evening: The output and mission of the civil registry is to provide statistics and information based on which various plans are made.

The General Director of Golestan Civil Registry added: One of the serious challenges of the province is the issue of population, having children, and marriage, which is a big mission for all of us and a kind of explanation jihad.

He stated: The decrease in the population growth rate and decrease in childbearing will cause us problems in the future and will have many different consequences and effects.

Mati continued: The importance of the family is clear to all of us and its place is sublime, the family is the center of education and promotion of cultures.

The General Director of Golestan Civil Registry said: “One of the problems of the province is unregistered marriages, that is, in addition to the fact that we have problems with having children and marriage, one of our problems is the lack of registration of marriages, the size and amount of which is very significant.”

He stated: Some of these marriages were false and fake and it is due to identity problems that exist, but most of them are not registered even though they are genuine.

Mati added: We must create this culture among the people, due to the legislator’s support for registered marriages, along with other issues and bases, marriages must be registered.
