Huawei today unveiled the Matebook 16 laptop with a Ryzen 5000H processor. As the name implies, the Huawei Matebook 16 uses a 16-inch display. The aspect ratio of this display is 3: 2, which means that the Matebook 16 has more vertical space compared to laptops that have a 16: 9 aspect ratio. Specifications of Huawei Matebook 16 laptop

MateBook 16 It uses a 16-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2520 x 1680 pixels (pixel density 189 ppi). This panel will offer 1500: 1 color contrast and brightness up to 300 nits and also supports DC dimming capability. Huawei also supports HDR and 100% sRGB color space coverage for this panel. In addition, the display is tactile and the coating on it prevents fingerprint absorption.

The laptop will come with Zen 3 APUs, namely Ryzen 5 5600H and Ryzen 7 5800H, which will have 6 and 8 cores (12 and 16 strings) and integrated Vega GPU graphics with 7 CU and 8 CU, respectively. The standard power of this laptop is 35 watts, but in Performance Mode this figure will increase to 54 watts.

Two shark wing cooling fans (75 mm) with two thick heat pipes and a copper alloy heat sink are designed to control the temperature of this laptop. Huawei has included 16 GB of DDR4 dual-channel RAM and 512 GB of NVMe SSD for its new Matebook.

The notebook uses an 84-watt-hour battery, which is enough to play 12.5 hours of video. A 135 watt charger is provided for the Matebook 16, which with 15 minutes of charging can be responsible for up to 3.5 hours of office work. This is a USB-C charger, so it can also be used for Huawei smartphones that support SuperCharge technology.

On one side of the MateBook 16 are two USB-C ports, an HDMI port and a 3.5mm headphone / microphone jack. On the other side are two USB-A 3.2 Gen1 ports. This laptop has two 2-watt speakers and a microphone on either side of the keyboard. The speaker of this notebook has noise-based technology based on artificial intelligence and has the ability to eliminate ambient noise and echo during contact.

The Matebook 16 keyboard, like other Huawei laptops, lacks calculator keys and has a frosted glass touchpad at the bottom. The weight of this laptop is 1.99 kg and its thickness is 17.8 mm. The exterior of this device is dark gray (Space Gray) and has a smooth polished body with soft and flat material. Other features of this laptop include Wi-Fi 6 (ax), Bluetooth 5.1 and a fingerprint sensor integrated with the power key.

The PC-Smartphone Collaboration feature on the Huawei Matebook 16 will allow you to connect your smartphone to a laptop and run up to three simultaneous applications on it. You can also use the mouse and keyboard to control this program. Tablets can also be connected wirelessly or wired to the device and use even more features.
