US Fifth Fleet seeks to expand use of drones in West Asia

The commander of the US Fifth Fleet explained: Sixty countries will participate in this exercise. Ten participating countries will use drones in the exercise. This will be the largest drone exercise in the world.
The United States formed a 59-member task force last year to develop drone technology in its navy. In the past year, Bahrain and Jordan have partnered with the United States to develop the technology.
According to IRNA, in early November this year, the US Navy and Bahrain began joint exercises in the Persian Gulf using drones.
The US Navy’s Fifth Fleet announced in Bahrain last month that it had formed a new force in the Persian Gulf to integrate drones, drones and artificial intelligence into its operations, focusing on regional cooperation.
Some of the drone systems that the Fifth Fleet will use include super-resistant surveillance drones, Sihac and Sea Hunter drones, and torpedo-like unmanned submarines.
