Vaccination of students is not mandatory – Mehr news agency Iran and world’s news



According to Mehr Sadegh Sattari Fard news agency, referring to last year’s resolution of the Corona Prevention Headquarters regarding the necessity of vaccinating students aged 12 to 18, he said: The students received the vaccination well, of course, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health cooperated a lot. He added: Education provided its 927 sports complexes as vaccination areas to the Ministry of Health so that people can have easy access to vaccination services.

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Education, pointing out that 95% of the community of educators received the first dose and 90% of the second dose, said: 51% of educators applied for the third dose, and recently, with the approval of the Corona Headquarters and the recommendation of the Ministry of Health, the fourth dose was also given as A reminder dose is recommended for educators.

Satari Fard recalled: In 1400, it was approved for students aged 12 to 18 to receive only two doses of the vaccine, which fortunately was well received; 92% of students in the mentioned age group received the first dose and 80% received the second dose, and a high percentage of people in the community were vaccinated, so due to the high percentage of vaccination in the community and students, schools were reopened.
