We didn’t get an Eid, where should we complain?/ The bitterness of some worshipers due to the inconsistency in holding the Eid al-Fitr prayer.

Fars news agency community group The closure of Shahid Beheshti station has led many worshipers to Suhrawardi station. However, most of the passengers pass the spiral floors of the station with a smile on their face and repeating lovely takbeers before the Eid prayer. Upon entering Shahid Beheshti Street, sighs arise from many people; One of them is looking at the clock and the other is looking at the long street, which is full of people going to the mosque. Perhaps this is the reason why, no matter how much the young man on the street tries, even with humor, no one accompanies his takbeers. After traveling 2-3 kilometers, upon entering Qanbarzadeh street, you will pass another street. Eager to join the prayer procession, everyone walks the steep street of Qanbarzadeh, when suddenly, with a faint voice, their hopes fade.
A young girl from the crowd jumps up like someone electrocuted and says: “Eh… Eh… It’s a man’s voice.” Heard right. It is the voice of a man who has reached the middle of Surah Hamad. The girl looks at the women and men around her in disbelief and says again in a sad voice: “Then what about us?” So how should we pray?” Everyone is amazed. There is no sound from anyone and everyone continues on their way. But facing the closed doors of the mosque, as if all hope had been lost, the voice of protest started to rise: “Why did the prayer start before 8 o’clock?” Does this mean that all the work of the country is done so accurately and on time?! Why are all the doors of the mosque closed? Why close the Beheshti metro station and double the road and send so many people to this route? What kind of planning and organization is this? Now that with these decisions, so many people arrive late to the prayer, why instead of starting the prayer late, they start even earlier than 8 o’clock?!”
The sound of zikr of the beautiful qunut of the Eid prayer is heard, but unlike every year, hearing it does not melt the sugar in the hearts of the pilgrims and does not bring tears to their eyes when it is repeated. When the crowd is turned away in front of the last door, a lady reaches out to Mr. Zazamat and says, “Look at this crowd. None of them reached the prayer. What is this planning? The man says with a desperate expression: “To God, I’ve lost my voice and shouted enough”…
Even though the men’s prayer line is extended to the front door, a large number of women who have no way back or forward form the prayer line there so that at least they can coordinate their Farday prayer with the second rak’at of the man’s prayer. The Eid al-Fitr prayer ends under the leadership of the supreme leader of the revolution, and many worshipers who joined the prayer procession inside the mosque from the street, immediately start moving towards the metro station and the location of the buses, and this means encountering the line of praying women who They are just performing the second rakat of prayer…
In any case, the morning prayer ends under the pressure, anxiety and discomfort of the women, and all of them go to Ghanbarzadeh street with the flood of worshipers due to the crowd. The regret of missing the Eid al-Fitr congregational prayer led by the Supreme Leader, that too after three difficult years of the Corona virus, has left a burning sensation in the hearts of hundreds of worshipers, which will not cool down anytime soon. It’s like when you pass by groups of several people, you hear their endless complaints. “There were so many people on the road,” says a mother with annoyance. I wish the gentleman would start the prayer later”…, his teenage daughter immediately replied: “Wow…?! mom! Sir, do you see the directions? The ceremony has an executive group. They had to organize. The solution was a wireless one. It was enough to inform that the prayer would start late. Look right now; Aren’t the sermons of the Eid al-Fitr prayer part of the prayer? So why doesn’t the sound of the loudspeakers come here, where the prayer procession was also formed?”
The middle-aged lady walking forward turns her head and says, “This year, the event planning was not good at all. It is about closing the metro station, and about the busses. Every year, they used to send buses from squares like Sadeghieh to pray, but not this year.” The young mother also confirms his words: “Why do they have to drop us two stops ahead?” Do you know how far we walked? We lost a lot of time. After three years, we wanted to pray the Eid prayer behind Mr. No matter how hard it was, we made it to the prayer hall from a long distance, but the joy of our Eid day was participating in the Eid al-Fitr prayer. But look now. Everyone is returning home sadly.”
A young girl who raised her mask up to near her eyes joins the discussion and says: “After a 24-hour shift, I reached the mosque for the love of the man, but in the end I could not pray behind them.” I cried so much that I can’t talk anymore…” and he walks away quietly.
On the way, there are many worshipers standing alone on the sidewalk to pray. In the middle of the road, when the movement of the crowd slows down, a question mark is created in the minds of the passers-by. A little further on, it becomes clear that this delay is due to the holding of an Eid congregational prayer with the presence of a small crowd of about 40-50 people.
The crowd’s attention is focused when a woman’s voice from the other corner of the street attracts attention. A middle-aged lady with her young daughter stands in front of a group of police forces and complains passionately about the way the ceremony was performed and says: “I have not seen such a situation in all the 30-40 years that I participated in the Eid al-Fitr prayer. Is it possible to close all the doors of the mosque and send all the people to one door? Well, the result is the same. Many stay behind the door.”
Haj Khanum’s heart is still not satisfied, so she goes to a cleric and says: “Haj Agha! You are the place of reference for people. I tell you my complaint. Tell the organizers of today’s event that with their actions they made us all to be deprived of the Eid al-Fitr prayer and to return home with sadness. You say; When they changed the conditions of the subway station and the doors of the mosque and saw that there were so many eager worshipers in the street, shouldn’t they have started the prayer late? But unfortunately, they started earlier than the scheduled time. I have been coming to the Eid al-Fitr prayer for many years, and some years I witnessed that sometimes the prayer was offered half an hour late. If this small plan had been done, everyone would have prayed behind the leadership, received their Eid and would have returned home happily. But alas, we and many worshipers are returning home empty-handed and with a bitter taste.”
