According to reporter Mehr Ahmad Mahmoodzadeh, the head of the organization of non-governmental schools and centers of the Ministry of Education, said in a television program about the tuition fees of non-profit schools, he said about the method of determining the tuition fees of non-governmental schools: We in the organization of non-governmental schools tried to determine the format of tuition fees in a scientific way. And with the support of the founders, teachers and parents of the students, we went through a seven-month process to prepare this model and reached a logical model that will be implemented throughout the country.
He further said: We took into account the increase in wages, the increase in the rent of buildings, and the increase in inflation in this tuition fee determination. Tuition varies from 5 million to 48 million. Our 15,000 non-governmental schools charge less than 20 million tuition fees.
He further stated: The pattern of determining the tuition fees of non-profit schools has become scientific and expert, and they have been seriously monitored. The cases of 1024 schools that have committed violations have been investigated in the last 12 months and have even gone to the stage of revoking the licenses. The license of 800 schools has been canceled. This statistic shows the serious monitoring of non-profit schools and the serious determination of the Ministry of Education.
The deputy minister of education continued: In the online system of education and education, by entering the school code, the tuition rate determined for them is known so that schools cannot charge higher tuition.
Only 200 non-profit schools charge tuition fees above 40 million
He continued: Tuition fees above 40 million are charged only in 1 percent of schools, i.e. 200 schools out of a total of 18,000 schools. Schools that have charged excess tuition must return the received tuition to the parents.

Mahmoudzadeh continued: We don’t have schools that charge tuition fees in dollars, and the international schools of the Ministry of Education used to charge in dollars for international diplomas that had to be issued from the destination country, which was also canceled.
Mahmoudzadeh said: We visited some non-profit schools in Tehran and found out that they received more tuition. 50 schools in Tehran received excess tuition fees, which were dealt with and they must return the excess tuition fees to the students’ parents.
He said: According to the law, the insurance of non-government school teachers should be paid by the government, which has not been paid in these years.
