He said: “This station is located between several important highways, and the people of West Tehran, who until today did not benefit from the subway, can use this station from now on. Another feature of this station is its connection with metro lines 6 and 5.” Is. It should be noted that 240 thousand cubic meters of excavation and about 10 thousand cubic meters of concreting have been done in this project.

Also, on the sidelines of the ceremony, Mehdi Chamran, the head of the Tehran city council, while thanking the metro staff for the completion of the Allameh Jafari station, said: “Our expectation from the Tehran metro is that a new station will be opened every month in order to eliminate the previous backlogs.”

He said: “Unfortunately, the growth of the metro was slow in the past years, but now the speed of work has increased.”

Chamran added: We hope that 30% of our urban transportation will be done by metro and we emphasize on this 30%, of course, this is reasonable and all efforts should be made to achieve this goal.
