According to the education reporter of Fars news agency, the 14th Congress of the Union of Islamic Student Associations has started in Shahid Bahonar camp in Tehran.

Tahiri added: In these three days, we have an overview of the goals of the programs and depict the path. Also, we have the elections ahead of us, which is a manifestation of the participation and interaction of the Islamic Association and provides the future of the union with healthy competition, a forward and reforming path.

He added: Another event that we predicted in the 14th Congress is to express the concerns and points that the students want to share with the officials and, God willing, we can provide a good path for all students with the suggestions and criticisms of the students.

The Secretary General of the Union of Islamic Associations, referring to the synchronicity of the 14th Congress with the Arbaeen Hosseini days, stated: For Shia children, the number 14 is associated with the name and remembrance of Waliasr (A.S.). For the Islamic Association, it has a more serious difference because Imam Khomeini (RA) said, “Each of these respected associations is a branch of that great Islamic Association under the leadership of Imam Zaman (AJ)”.

Hojjat-ul-Islam wal-Muslimin Mohammad Javad Haj Ali Akbari, the representative of the Supreme Leader in the Union of Islamic Student Associations, said at this event: “One of our attractive programs is the congress, which has the enthusiastic participation of members and is considered a kind of summary.”

Referring to the slogan of the 14th Congress of the Union of Islamic Student Associations entitled “Awake until the morning of hope”, he said: It is an important issue for a person to be awake and have vision in this world.

He continued: When a person sleeps, he does not have movement, decision, insight and power of action, but when he is awake, it is assumed that he has nobility and understands his surroundings. Therefore, awakening is the key word that is mentioned in our mystical and moral literature, and the first house is the house of awakening, and if a person enters this stage, it is hoped that he will go to higher stages.

Hojjatul-Islam wal-Muslimin Haj Ali Akbari, emphasizing that everything we die is due to negligence and sleep, added: All the good that comes to man is due to being awake.

He added: Awakening can be learned and must be earned. With the will of Almighty God, preparations must be made and all the programs that we have in the text of the divine law, first of all, take people out of neglect and have a leading role, which can be mentioned as dhikr, pilgrimage, etc.

The representative of the Supreme Leader in the Union of Islamic Student Associations, emphasizing that with thought and remembrance, awakening can be learned, stated: Thought and remembrance are the two wings of awakening.

Stating that not everyone is given the success of prayer, he said: The success of prayer is given to someone who is prepared for remembrance and thought. It means paying attention to the Almighty God and thinking about the creation of the heavens and the earth in abundance.

Hojjat al-Islam wal-Muslimin Haj Ali Akbari stated that education and training are the two wings that are lost, and clarified: education happens with remembrance and thought. In this case, moral virtues and beauties are formed in the individual and have a positive effect on oneself, the family environment and the society.
