Some of the uses of this drug include the treatment of epilepsy, treatment of sleep disorders such as insomnia and restlessness, treatment of seizures caused by certain medical conditions such as cholera, eclampsia, meningitis, tetanus, toxic reactions to strychnine and local anesthetics.
