The locked chat feature allows users to lock their conversations through the contact information section or group chat while increasing privacy. After applying this feature and locking the chat, access to it will only be possible using fingerprint or password. In this way, it becomes impossible for others to open and view private conversations.

Also, if someone tries to access a locked chat without a fingerprint or password, they will only get an option to delete the conversation. The new WhatsApp feature also helps keep other types of content private, such as photos and videos, and prevents them from being sent to the phone’s gallery.

WhatsApp is planning to introduce the locked chat feature in the next update of this application. This feature allows users to use another valuable privacy extension and have more control over their private conversations and content.
