WhatsApp works on a new option for Last Seen and a search by date feature

WhatsApp is working on two new features, the first of which is to stop showing the Last Seen section for those audiences you do not want. The second feature also allows you to search chats by date.

According to the website WABetaInfoWhatsApp, a new privacy tool, lets users specify exactly who they want to see when they last logged in to the messenger. The Last Seen section, the profile picture and About can now be set so that all users and contacts can access this information or no one can see it.

But in the future a new option will be added to this section so that while displaying information to the audience you can specify which contact you want to exclude from this list. This feature allows you to hide your Last Seen from people who do not want to see your activity. Of course, disabling Last Seen for any audience will mean that you will not be able to see their Last Seen either.

WhatsApp has also been working on a feature-based search feature since November and will continue to do so. If you are looking for a message in a certain period of time, with the help of this feature, you can easily find the message you want. Just tap the calendar icon while searching and specify the time you want with the available options.

Last Seen and time search capability are currently under development in the iOS version, but will probably be available for the Android version in the future. With the help of the first feature, users can increase their level of privacy security and have more control over their presence on this platform. WhatsApp also announced today which platforms will soon be out of the company’s support.
