When Shahid Beheshti was welcomed by Majid Tazami+film

According to the correspondent of Fars News Agency’s epic and resistance field, at the beginning of the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, due to the atmosphere that had prevailed in the country, a part of the people and officials of the country thought that listening to any kind of music was forbidden and no musician or singer should hold a concert. But Shahid Beheshti had a different opinion. Iranian composer and musician Majid Tazami says from his conversation with Shahid Beheshti: “At the beginning of the revolution, when they said that it was forbidden to hold a concert, all the singers and musicians left the country and only 17-18 of us remained. However, we could not hold a concert. One day we went to Mr. Beheshti without making an appointment. He was talking to a lady when I said, “I came from the symphony orchestra.”

Shahid Beheshti asked that lady to visit another time. Then he came out of his room, took my hand and took me into the room. “We came from the Symphony Orchestra Council,” I told him.

He said: “How good, how good.”

I said: “Can you say this ‘how good, how good’ so that people understand that music is not bad?” Good music is good. Science lies in it, mathematics lies in it.”

He looked surprised and said: “Has anyone come to issue a fatwa for Bach and Behteven?” If you are right, go get your right. If you are not worthy, you will be crushed.”

Nzamzi continues his words: “Any person who worked for the country, whether he is a writer, a poet, etc., I kiss his hand; But our fighters did something that no one has done in 8 years of holy defense. Nowhere in the world has such a thing happened that without being prepared and without even knowing that there is going to be a war, there will be a war and they go to fight almost empty-handed and take back the place that was taken, that is, Khorramshahr, empty-handed. We should be proud of this.”

You can watch the video of Majid Tazami’s speech below:

Seyyed Mohammad Hosseini Beheshti, known as Ayatollah Beheshti, was one of the influential clerics in the Islamic Revolution of Iran. He was a politician, jurist, and the second president of the Supreme Court and the highest judicial authority of the country after the Islamic Revolution, as well as the first secretary general of the Islamic Republic Party and the vice-chairman of the Assembly of Constitutional Experts. He was assassinated and martyred by hypocrites.
