Why is the car quality report not published?

According to Eqtesadonline, quoted by ISNA, in an accident related to the Behbahan-Ramhormoz axis on January 11, 2014, 60 vehicles collided with each other, killing five people and injuring 41 others. The noteworthy point of this incident was that the airbag (airbag) of any of these cars did not open.
Apart from discussing the silence of car manufacturers in this regard or the justification of the Iranian Automobile Manufacturers Association for not opening the airbags, the monthly quality status of the cars was not published after that! In fact, considering that the Iranian Quality and Standard Inspection Company (ISQI) is the main trustee and responsible for submitting quality assessment reports for domestically produced vehicles after the Automobile Transportation Industries Office of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade, this company is the last to produce production vehicles. Azar 1400 and after the Behbahan accident, did not publish a report on the quality of cars.
While the Office of Transportation Industries of the Ministry of Silence itself sometimes published this report, during this period, the organization also refused to submit a report on the quality of production vehicles in the last three months of 1400.
This could indicate that the car quality assessment report will not be published for at least a few months, as usual, until the implementation of the President’s order to improve the quality of cars in 1401.
It should be noted that in a period of about 9 months (in the last few months of 1398 to June 1399) quality evaluation reports of cars will not be published. At that time, these reports were not published by the Ministry of Silence for various reasons, including Corona and the like.
But now the question is why this time the quality assessment report of domestic cars is not published? In these reports, at least 20 car models with a quality level of three stars and above were introduced!
It should be noted that in 2017, the public publication of quality assessment reports of domestic cars was limited and sometimes the reports were submitted with censorship, which led to many reactions.
For example, experts and activists in the country’s automotive industry believed that “when the quality report of domestic cars is published in a censored and selective manner, consumers are forced to choose the car they need without knowledge and like a closed watermelon” or “limiting the information contained in The monthly report on the quality of domestic cars has exposed the influence of some carmakers on the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade, and they called for action against carmakers who exercised influence to limit the public release of these reports.
Others argued that “knowing is the right of the people, so the quality assessment report of domestic cars should be fully published and made available to the public.”
After provoking all these reactions, the influence of some automakers to censor the quality report of domestic cars and remove the negative scores from these reports was exposed, and the question arose as to how and with what support the automakers succeeded in censoring the quality information of cars?
Finally, after the follow-up, the then Deputy Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade promised that the quality assessment report of domestic cars would be published in full and the negative scores (quality defects) of the cars would be reported to the media and the general public.
Last year, the issue of car quality became very controversial, and after eight jihadist orders to transform the automotive sector in terms of quality and quantification of car production, which was issued after the president’s intrusive visit to Iran Khodro Industrial Group in March, in various sections on quality improvement Cars were emphasized in 1401.
Also in the meeting of the Supreme Leader with a group of manufacturers, economic activists and economic and industrial officials at the beginning of February 1400, he complained about the quality of some domestic products, including cars, and said: “Unfortunately, we see in some domestic products that Quality is not taken into account, this is very bad; all this support has been given to the car industry in the country during these years; well, the quality of the car is not good, people are dissatisfied and they are right. People are right; “Satisfy the customer.”
Despite the fact that at the end of February, while about 40 days had passed since the Behbahan accident and the story of the car airbags not being opened in this chain accident, And strengthened the airbags.
In the text of the company’s calls, customers were scheduled to be admitted at various times to have the car ACU software (which is related to airbags) reviewed and updated (for free). In addition, car owners were warned that if the customer is not present on time, the company will be held responsible for any problems and accidents with the origin of the call!
