Workers’ housing right of 550 thousand Tomans was announced – Mehr News Agency | Iran and world’s news
According to the Mehr correspondent, Mohammad Mokhber, the first vice president, in a letter to the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare and the State Program and Budget Organization, announced the Cabinet’s decision to increase housing rights.
At the June 11, 1401 meeting, the Council of Ministers, at the suggestion of the Supreme Labor Council and with the approval of the State Planning and Budget Organization, and based on Article 2, amended the law on job classification and for workers’ housing allowance, approved in 1991.
The housing allowance for workers subject to the labor law will be set at 5 million and 500 thousand Rials (550 thousand Tomans) per month from the beginning of April 1401.
According to Mehr, while the Council of Ministers set the right to housing at 550,000 Tomans, this component was set at 650,000 Tomans in the Supreme Labor Council.
