Yazd became the permanent host of the “Roish” National Film Festival

According to Fars News Agency, in a ceremony attended by the governor of Yazd, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Islamic Revolution Art Center and Yazd Municipality to hold the National Festival of Religious Short Film “Roish” and was signed by Mohammad Mehdi Dadman, head of the Arts Center and Abolghasem Mohiat al-Dini, mayor of Yazd.

Referring to the artistic capacities and talents of Yazd province, the head of the artistic field said: in the new era of the artistic field, provincial centers are a priority and today, artistic and literary talents should be sought in the provinces.

Mohammad Mehdi Dadman added: In the early days of the revolution, apart from Tehran, three or four other cities, the boiling point of artistic and literary talents was significant, but today it is not like that; Today, this effervescence can be seen everywhere in the country, including Yazd.

He stated: “Today, wherever we go in the same style and quality of the first meaning of the revolution, it may be possible to find forces that are both attached to the revolution and know the work of art and have artistic taste; Therefore, our determination and effort is to direct the facilities and even national missions from Tehran to the provinces as far as we can, because these movements lead to growth.

The head of the Islamic Revolution Art Center added: “Iran, a culture that should have been formed in the shadow of the Islamic Revolution, will be shaped by this look and attention.”

In the end, Dadman said: “We hope that with the help of God and the help and support of the esteemed governor of Yazd, we will be successful in this field and we will be able to take an effective step towards the promotion of the province’s art.”

According to this memorandum, the national festival of religious short film “Roish” with a history of 10 years, which was previously held in Tehran and Mashhad, will be permanently transferred to Yazd, and this art event will be held every year with the participation of Yazd Arts Center and Municipality. .
