Zakani: Making municipal appointments in the city council is against the law

According to Fars News Agency’s urban correspondent, Mehdi Chamran, Chairman of the Islamic Council of Tehran, said in front of the council today about the plan to oblige the Tehran Municipality to use existing and qualified manpower in managerial positions: If a person is more qualified and qualified from outside Selected, can be used in the municipal complex.
Chamran added: we must leave the municipality free in this regard and that the appointments in the council are against the law.
He stressed that in all municipal appointments, people should be tried to be selected from within the organization: we should not limit the mayor, but we recommend that the expertise in appointments and the use of forces within the complex be considered by the mayor.
Chamran added: the mayor, if he deems it appropriate, should use the knowledgeable forces and internal experts of the municipality, even in deputy positions.
“We may have nominated someone for the post, but fortunately we have not interfered in the appointment of any manpower,” he said. “I have not nominated any manpower in previous terms.”
