Zionist sources: Hamas and jihad do not accept giving up weapons in exchange for economic promises

According to Fars News Agency’s International Group, Zionist security sources questioned the regime’s foreign minister, Yair Lapid, presented in Cairo, which includes allocating economic benefits to Gaza in exchange for Hamas disarmament and the return of the Palestinian Authority to the Gaza Strip. .

According to the news agency “سماSenior Israeli military sources have acknowledged that it is difficult for Hamas and Islamic Jihad to lay down their weapons in exchange for food or long-term economic promises, even as the situation in the Gaza Strip deteriorates.

The sources added that if all sides want a real ceasefire in the Gaza Strip in the light of the current threats against the Israeli regime, a practical and bold proposal must be made.

Lapid submitted his plan to the Cairo authorities this week. He said he had discussed the plan with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and a number of officials from Egypt, the European Union and the Gulf states.

The Israeli foreign minister said the plan includes two phases: first, the reconstruction and provision of humanitarian needs in Gaza in the face of the weakening of Hamas’s military power through international forces, and second, a comprehensive economic plan that guarantees security.

According to Lapid, the second phase of the plan includes the construction of a port, a communication network between Gaza and the West Bank, investment in Gaza and joint economic projects between Israel, Egypt and the Palestinian Authority.

The siege of the Gaza Strip is entering its 15th year, and the humanitarian and living conditions in the region are deteriorating day by day.
