10% growth in steel exports

Omid Qalibaf in an interview with Fars News Agency economic reporter said: in the first two months of this year, steel exports in terms of weight has increased by 10% compared to the same period last year.

The spokesman of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade stated that the export of steel during this period was one million and 66 thousand tons and added: in the period under review, the export of cathode copper reached 26 thousand tons, which shows a 44% growth.

He added: “The dollar growth of cathode copper exports in 1400 compared to 99 experienced more than 116 percent growth.”

The spokesman of the Ministry of Silence announced the jump in the export of glassware and said: in the first two months of this year, compared to the same period last year, 50% of the export of glassware shows weight growth.

Qalibaf also announced a 9% growth in the export of ceramic tiles during the mentioned period and said: 595 thousand tons of ceramic tiles have been sent to export markets in the first two months of this year.

Referring to the export of $ 234 million worth of ceramic tiles last year, Samat’s spokesman said; Exports of this product grew by 8% in 1400 compared to the previous year.
