According to the Mehr correspondent, Mohammad Reza Bozorgmehr told reporters on Saturday morning: 4,389 marriages have been registered in Bushehr province during the first eight months of this year.
Referring to the daily registration of 18 marriages in the marriage and divorce offices of Bushehr province, he noted: During the first eight months of this year, the number of marriages in the province has decreased by 1.5 percent compared to last year.
The Director General of the Registry of Deeds and Real Estate of Bushehr Province added: The average marriage in the eight months of this year in the country has grown by 6.5 percent.
He announced the registration of 1,496 divorce cases during the first eight months of this year and stated: the ratio of divorces to marriages registered in the province is 34.1% and the ratio of divorces registered in the province to the total divorces in the country is 1.2%.
Bozorgmehr, referring to the seven percent increase in divorce rates in Bushehr province during the first eight months of this year, added: “On average, five divorces occur daily in Bushehr province.”
The Director General of the Registry of Deeds and Real Estate of Bushehr Province continued: During the first eight months of this year, 34 divorces have been registered for every 100 marriages.
