According to the report of Arya Heritage, citing the public relations of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Isfahan Province, on Tuesday, October 18, the meeting of the Technical Council of Isfahan Province was held at the Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque in Isfahan.

In this meeting, Mehran Zainlian, Deputy Governor of Isfahan Civil Affairs, said: “Comprehensive reports on the restoration of historical monuments of Isfahan were presented in this meeting, which shows the determined will of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Crafts of the province to restore historical monuments of Isfahan.”

The Deputy Governor of Isfahan Civil Affairs continued: Considering that some restoration operations in Isfahan, such as the continuation of the restoration of the dome of the Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, the dome of the Imam Mosque, Isfahan’s historical market, and the dome of the Taj Al-Mulk Mosque of the Old Jame Atiq Mosque, require more funds and facilities. Therefore, we are trying to take advantage of all the capacities of the province to complete the restoration of the historical landmarks of the province.

He added: In the expert committee under the technical office of the governorate, we are planning so that at least 3 more meetings of the technical council of the province will be dedicated to cultural heritage.

Zainlian stated: Considering that Isfahan has valuable historical works that are known nationally and internationally, and currently having 17 tangible and intangible works of the world, people expect us to use these works and collections with extra effort. to protect

In the continuation of this meeting, in the presence of Mehran Zainlian, the deputy governor for civil affairs, Hamidreza Mohaghegian, head of the general administration, and a group of managers of the general administration and members of the technical council of the province, a field visit was made to the restoration of the roof of Risman Bazaar, Sheikh Lotfollah Dome and Qaisarieh Bazaar.
