Appointed spokesman for Tehran Municipality

According to Fars News Agency’s urban correspondent, Alireza Zakani, the mayor of Tehran, appointed Abdul Motahar Mohammadkhani, the head of the Tehran Municipality’s Center for Communication and International Affairs, as the spokesman for the Tehran Municipality.

In part of this sentence, it is stated: In order to inform and respond accurately, quickly and enlighteningly and worthy and two-way interaction with the media with a critical approach, Mr. Abdolmotahar Mohammadkhani, Director of the Center for International Communications and Affairs, is introduced as “Tehran Municipality Spokesman”.

The mayor of Tehran also announced the “regulations for the formation of the Tehran Municipality Communication and Information Council.”

In the text of this letter, it is stated: In order to make policies, monitor and guide the programs, measures and processes of information and awareness, the “Regulations for the formation of the Communication and Information Council of Tehran Municipality” will be announced. It is expected that all media, information and propaganda activities of the subordinate units of the municipality will be carried out within the framework of the approvals and communicative policies of the said council.

According to this communiqué, Mohammadkhani was also appointed as the secretary of the Communication and Information Council of Tehran Municipality.
