Appointment of 70% of managers under the age of 45 in the new period of urban management

According to Fars News Agency’s urban correspondent, Sajjad Mohammad Ali Nejad, General Manager of Tehran Mayor, emphasizing youthfulness in the new period of Tehran’s urban management, said: In this period, with the help and cooperation of the Center for Managers’ Evaluation The framework for selecting senior city managers has been done and based on the available statistics, these approaches have been in a way that in addition to reducing age, people with higher specialties can be used.

He continued: “Reducing the age of managers is one of the characteristics of appointments in this period, so that we see the appointment of 70% of managers under the age of 45 (three and a half times the appointment of the sixties compared to previous periods of urban management) in this period.”

The Director General of Tehran Municipality stated: Another characteristic of the Evaluators Association in this period is the appointment of 97% of Tehran Municipality managers from among those with master’s and doctoral degrees compared to previous periods, which confirms the specialization of the center’s role.

Mohammad Ali Nejad pointed out: According to the statistics announced by the Center for Professional Evaluation of Managers, degrees, specialization and youthfulness are the most important concerns of this center and the people approved by this center have the necessary efficiency.
