According to the Mehr correspondent, Hojjatullah Abdolmaleki said in a public session of the Islamic Consultative Assembly today (Sunday, May 4) about the appointment process of his ministry: “We had about 300 appointments in this ministry and about 237 of them were colleagues in the ministry.” That we used them.
He added: “People like the head of the welfare organization were not employed for a period of political reasons and were not in the collection for 8 years, which we returned.” We have also employed 39 revolutionary and faithful youth, and we have used experienced, professional and revolutionary people. Revolutionary, anti-corruption, clean-handedness and expertise have been the criteria of our appointments, and more than 80% of our colleagues have been appointed to the ministry itself. The criteria were clear and there was no familial or political view of the appointments.
The Minister of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare emphasized: With the coming to power of a just government, a sense has been created in all employees of the executive apparatus that we can move towards justice in the payment of salaries and therefore their request to create justice in the payment system. It is in the country, the president also emphasizes this issue. Given that I am a member of the Government Salary Council, I will discuss the issue of justice in payments.
Abdul Maleki added: “The Ministry of Cooperation, Labor and Social Welfare is the most social ministry of the government, which unfortunately had become the most political and security ministry in the previous period and in the twelfth government.” Many of the minister’s relatives and close friends were employed, political appointments were made, and their scope extended to companies and funds. Campaign media activists were employed and held managerial positions, some of which were held by individuals convicted of the 1988 sedition.
He stressed: “We did not accept advice from anyone in the appointments and we conducted the elections only according to the criteria set by the president and approved by the parliament.” We checked about 4,000 people and handed over the loan to the trustee, and this issue continues. If the salaries were given on time, the presence of these people would have been appointed in Yemen. If the pores of astronomical rights were closed and we started a new course of fighting corruption in the subdivisions, it would all have been the work of the jihadist and revolutionary people of this ministry.
The Minister of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare stated: In order to implement the general policies of social security, we definitely need the Islamic Consultative Assembly to have a close relationship with the government. We have started many programs in the field of absolute poverty, and now we are in the middle of these programs. In the field of employment, I want to be given an opportunity to present a report on the measures taken in the field of employment. Serious plans have also been launched to reduce social harms. In the matter of social security and retirement, very good measures and programs have been started, which we will definitely not succeed without the close cooperation and interaction of the Islamic Consultative Assembly and the government.
The situation of the Ministry of Labor is urgent
Continuing the meeting, Hojjatoleslam Seyed Nasser Mousavi Largani, explaining his question, said: “The team of the Ministry of Labor has been campaigning in the parliament for several weeks and has explicitly stated in private circles that they will save the minister from any challenge in the parliament with their facilities and powers.” . They have been camping in the parliament since this morning.
He stated: The election of Abdul Maleki as Minister of Labor was an injustice to the government and the country. During these 9 months, I have not had any meetings or contacts with the minister so that no slander will occur. The situation of this ministry is so urgent that if this process is not stopped quickly, it alone will be enough to overthrow the main government.
The representative of the people of Falavarjan in the Islamic Consultative Assembly stated: emptying this ministry of efficient, experienced and non-political forces has caused emerging gatherings by the employees of this ministry and some subordinate organizations, which has been unprecedented in the history of this ministry. When a minister lacks acceptance and legitimacy among the ministry’s own staff, his or her efficiency and management in that set are called into question.
Mousavi Largani stated: Merit in appointments is one of the managerial requirements. It is necessary to pay attention to the specialized, skilled and revolutionary forces within the system, but in the new management period of the huge Ministry of Cooperation, Labor and Social Welfare, we are witnessing a large number of extra-organizational appointments.
He added: “These appointments have been more comradely, which has destroyed the motivation among the elite forces and specialized youth of the ministry.” We see that the minister entered the system with a bus from Carnabeld’s forces and did not pay any attention to capacities, workload and tasks. The fact that the minister and his friends shout that not everyone is with us is counter-revolutionary and corrupt, incompatible with the foundations of the system and the revolution.
