Asylum seekers in Denmark must work in exchange for financial assistance

According to IRNA on Wednesday, AFP quoted Danish officials as saying that the program was designed to help attract 20,000 migrants to the community through job search pressure.

Denmark has implemented one of the strictest immigration policies in Europe with the aim of achieving “zero asylum”, and immigration and the absorption of asylum seekers and immigrants have become a major issue for Danish voters.

The target population of this program will initially be people who have received benefits for three to four years and have not achieved the necessary success in Danish language education and skills.

According to the government, 60% of women in the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey do not participate in the Danish labor market.

According to official statistics, 11% of Denmark’s 5.8 million people are immigrants, and 58% of them are citizens of “non-Western” countries.
