Bani Gantz: We will prevent Iran from becoming nuclear – Mehr News Agency | Iran and world’s news



“Iran seeks to intervene in the affairs of the region through the IRGC’s Quds Force, violating international maritime laws,” Israeli War Minister Benny Gantz was quoted as saying by Mehr news agency, quoting Al Jazeera. Speaking on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, Gantz added: “The world must prevent Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon, and Israel will never allow Iran to become a nuclear state.”

Referring to the normalization of relations between some Arab countries and Tel Aviv, the Israeli Minister of War stressed: “Abraham’s agreement made a great change in our relations with Arab countries, and our relations with Arab countries are still at the beginning of the road.” We hope that more Arab countries will join the Abraham Agreement. We were disappointed that the Palestinians did not support the Abraham Accords. We hope that they will support this process and choose it, and not follow the path of terrorist organizations like Hamas.

Referring to the developments in Palestine, he claimed: “We believe in the formation of two states and the existence of the Palestinians cannot be ignored.” Eventually, peace will prevail over extremism in the Middle East.

Gantz also denounced the Pegasus spyware malware, saying: “We have received complaints about the use of the Pegasus program and we intend to review our policies in this regard.
