Cash and livelihood subsidies for high-income households will be eliminated – Mehr News Agency | Iran and world’s news

According to the Mehr correspondent, the deputies in the public session of the Islamic Consultative Assembly this morning (Wednesday, March 4) and during the review of the revenue section of the 1401 budget bill of the whole country, with paragraphs (b) and (c) of note 14 of the single article of the budget bill 1401 they agreed.

Pursuant to paragraph (b) of Note 14 of the budget, the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare, in cooperation with the Subsidies Targeting Organization and using the Iranian Welfare Database, is obliged to classify all income within three (3) months after the notification of this law. Subsidy households to eliminate cash subsidies and livelihood plans of high-income households through reliable and reliable indicators and information and data. Identification and declassification is done by the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare. The Subsidies Targeting Organization is obliged to register new applicants for subsidies in accordance with the rules.

Also, according to paragraph (c) of Note 14 of the budget, the foreign exchange resources listed in the resources section of the table of this note shall be immediately transferred by the subsidiaries of the Ministry of Oil to the foreign exchange account opened by the Treasury with the Central Bank in the name of the Subsidies Targeting Organization. The Central Bank of the Islamic Republic of Iran shall be exchanged at the rate of the Electronic Trading System (ATS) and deposited directly into the Rial account of the said organization and shall be used in full for the purposes of the table in this note.
