Chemical factory fire in India


According to the report of the International Economic Group of Fars News Agency, quoted by Russia EliumIndian media announced that a chemical factory in the Indian city of Tarapur was caught on fire on Tuesday evening (June 28, 2022).

Social media users posted videos showing that the huge fire at the chemical plant is still not under control.

Indian media reported that residents had heard several explosions before the fire broke out. According to Indian officials, no one was injured in the incident.

Reports also indicate that local residents are complaining of breathing problems due to chemical fumes rising from the plant.

According to media reports, this fire occurred at Premier Intermediate Chemical Company, and although the cause of the fire is not known, some reports indicate that this fire was caused by a large storage of flammable materials in the factory.

Less than a month ago, at least 18 people were killed after a fire broke out in a chemical factory in the city of Pune in western India.
