In another part of his speech, the Attorney General expressed his condolences on the second anniversary of the martyrdom of General Haj Qasem Soleimani and said: The life of the great martyr Haj Qasem Soleimani has been the source of many works, blessings and services to the Islamic world and the Islamic Revolution. He stated that Martyr Soleimani has defended the dear Islam and the sanctity of the Islamic Revolution with his heart and soul not only in recent years but also during the holy defense, adding: Martyr Soleimani did not fail to defend the values ​​of the Islamic Revolution during his entire life. He pointed out: “Smuggling of goods has many benefits for a limited number of people, but it is a deadly contribution for the country, and according to the Supreme Leader, smuggling is like a dagger that enters the country’s economy from behind.”

Hojjatoleslam and Muslimeen Montazeri added: “You dear ones, in the field of confronting this sinister phenomenon, you must prevent this fatal blow to the country’s economy with all your might, and do not allow these traitorous people to insert their daggers into the body of the country’s economy.”

The Attorney General stated that good efforts have been made so far in the fight against smuggling of goods: “The efforts and efforts made in various sectors in the fight against smuggling of goods are commendable and are not hidden from anyone, and the recent testimony of one of his colleagues You, Martyr Erfan Bayat in Zanjan, testify that the efforts in this field continue day and night.

Montazeri added: he should redouble all his efforts and make every effort to deal seriously with this issue. Efforts are good but not enough. The fight against trafficking requires inter-agency cohesion and synergy. The Attorney General noted: “Our intelligence and security services, as well as dealing with the appearance and agents of smuggling, must also identify the roots and heads of this issue and not allow the heavy blows of smuggling to damage the body of the country.”

Referring to the increase in the volume, amount and value of smuggled goods, he said: “Why should a series of traitors harm such a country in order to achieve their material goals and cause unemployment for our youth and closure of our factories.”
