Confirmation of US support in issuing a resolution against Iran at the meeting of the Board of Governors – Mehr News Agency | Iran and world’s news

A US State Department spokesman said the return to the Iran nuclear deal, known as the Borjam, was in the interests of US national security, Al Jazeera reported.
“We continue to believe that a reciprocal return to the nuclear deal is in the interests of our national security,” State Department spokesman Ned Price was quoted as saying.
The US State Department spokesman also confirmed that the country was accompanying three European countries, France, Germany and Britain, to issue an anti-Iran resolution at a meeting of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Board of Governors on Monday.
Despite Washington’s claims of diplomacy with Iran, Price said: “We can confirm that next week we will present a resolution with France, Britain and Germany that calls for Iran’s full cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency.”
Earlier, Reuters claimed that the United States and the European Troika had prepared a draft anti-Iran resolution to be presented at the next meeting of the IAEA Board of Governors.
Reuters also added that in the text of the draft resolution, Western countries ask the Islamic Republic of Iran to answer the IAEA’s alleged questions regarding the discovery of uranium traces found on its three sites.
The State Department spokesman also expressed concern about the violence in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem.
