The head of the Tehran City Council referred to a warning to the mayor of Tehran and the deputy mayor of urban planning and said that their approvals and decisions could not be implemented if they were contrary to a comprehensive and detailed plan.

He added: “Unlocking urban planning should be done in accordance with the scientific principles of urban planning, and the approvals of the council and the urban planning council should not be revoked, and if we have criticism, these approvals should be amended.”
