Curbing rent growth was on the government’s agenda – Mehr News Agency | Iran and world’s news

According to the Mehr news agency, quoting the presidential information base, in the meeting of the government’s economic coordination headquarters, which was chaired by the President of our country, Hojjatoleslam Seyyed Ibrahim, three important and decisive issues in the country’s economy were discussed.

In this meeting, the report of the Statistics Center of Iran on inflation in January and rent in the household expenditure basket was presented and after review, it was decided that the Economic Coordination Headquarters will formulate and present a supportive policy in this field with the aim of controlling rent growth and supporting tenants.

At this meeting, a report on the state of liquidity growth and the performance of banks was presented, and the President ordered the Central Bank to formulate the necessary policies to manage liquidity growth and submit it to the Economic Coordination Headquarters as soon as possible.

Following the meeting of this headquarters, the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare reported on the status of pension funds and their problems, and it was decided to submit the bill related to the funds and problems to the High Economic Council and the parliament.
