Deputy Inspector General: Many cars are left in the parking lot due to defective parts


According to Fars News Agency, the Deputy Supervisor and Inspector of Production Affairs of the General Inspection Organization, together with the Inspector General of Silence and the relevant inspection board, visited Iran Khodro and Saipa Automotive Groups on Friday morning and followed the process of commercialization and completion of defective vehicles and factory floor.

Gholamabbas Torki, stating that a meeting was held with the automakers on September 20 at the General Inspection Organization regarding the collection of floor vehicles, which the automakers announced their readiness in this regard, said: They have commercialized that about 3,000 of them were related to factory floor cars, and the CEO of Saipa also promised to reduce the number of floor cars from 50,000 to 10,000 by November 6th.

He stressed: Automakers should improve the quantity and quality of products, to design and produce a common platform to reduce the cost of the product.

Deputy Supervisor and Inspector of Production Affairs of the General Inspection Organization, added: “The current problems of carmakers, such as cars with spare parts, will be solved with the sympathy of the supply chain and production jihadists, but we expect fundamental changes and quantitative and qualitative improvements in product production.” Be able to meet customer needs.

Referring to the car manufacturers’ production lines, he explained: “Many cars are left in the parking lot due to the lack of one or three electronic and high-tech parts, which is due to sanctions and problems in the way of buying parts.” It will be commercialized and delivered to customers.

Turki stressed that the National Inspection Agency, as a supervisory authority that carries out specialized monitoring, is with the automakers to eliminate bottlenecks and obstacles to the production leap.

He said that in specialized meetings, solutions have been adopted so that car companies can deliver defective cars to the people and fulfill their obligations, emphasizing that there are obstacles and problems that need to be solved with the cooperation of responsible agencies.

The Deputy Supervisor and Inspector of Production Affairs of the General Inspection Organization of the country stated: The problems and issues that car manufacturers are involved in will be followed up in a meeting with officials and conditions will be provided so that car manufacturers have less worries to solve their problems.

Turki stated that the National Inspection Agency welcomes the reduction of defective vehicles, adding: “We expect car companies to prioritize the supply of required parts from domestic parts companies and do not buy foreign parts except for urgent cases.”

The Deputy Supervisor and Inspector of Production Affairs of the General Inspection Organization said: “Another demand of car companies is to go towards synergy and use each other’s facilities;” If this happens, economical vehicles can be produced while managing and reducing costs.

“If car companies become economical, there is a possibility of an increase and jump in production, and it is possible to plan to export cars at competitive prices,” Turki said.

Ashkan Mir Mohammadi, Inspector General of Industry, Mining and Trade of the General Inspection Organization, also said: “Automakers can supply their required parts, provided that there is no capacity for construction in the Iranian power system, by registering the order and saving their needs.”

He said that a monopoly had been formed in the supply of certain parts, adding that the Ministry of Silence should intervene by establishing a regulatory body and provide applicants with access to certain parts, including single and electronic parts. Mir Mohammadi added: “Automakers should reflect the issue to the inspectorate of the whole country if they have problems in order to supply parts from suppliers who sometimes have government shares and can be supervised or have problems with financing.” Do not do it for the car industry.

Referring to the measures taken by automakers to reduce the cost price, he said: “These measures are not enough, while automakers should sell their surplus property and non-productive assets to both finance and reduce the cost of the product.”

The inspector general of industry, mining and trade of the National Inspection Organization also added: “Although the reduction of defective cars on the factory floor is good news, but car manufacturers should bring the number of these cars to an acceptable level in the commercialization process, which is currently far away.”

Mir Mohammadi, Inspector General of Silence Affairs, emphasized on the demand and monitoring of car manufacturers ‘actions according to the schedule to reduce defective cars, pointed to the responsibility of the Ministry of Silence to follow up and solve car manufacturers’ problems. He mentioned the existing problems, the necessity of taking necessary measures in supplying raw materials and production inputs for automakers with a single process in the current economic conditions, including the policies of the Ministry of Silence and relevant stakeholders to reduce the cost of production and jump in production.
