Detective Colonel Ali Vali Pourgoodarzi, the head of the Greater Tehran Economic Security Police, in an interview with a disciplinary reporter of Fars News Agency, announced the discovery of 1,840 smuggled ampoules.

Explaining the details of the above news, Col. Valipour Goodarzi stated: The officers of the Greater Tehran Economic Security Police’s Office for Combating Commodity and Currency Smuggling were informed of individual activities in the field of buying and selling smuggled drugs in central Tehran and conducted their specialized investigations. The field began.

He added: “Following the investigation, the officers identified the location of the drug smuggling depot in the accused’s house in the area of ​​Jomhuri Street and a team of detectives was sent there with judicial coordination.”

The head of Tehran Economic Security Police, referring to the discovery of large quantities of smuggled ampoules from the defendant’s residence, noted: The defendant confessed to the crime after initial investigations and stated that he had provided these drugs outside the distribution network.

He added: “In this operation, 1,840 ampoules of smuggling were discovered, and experts have estimated the value of the discovered drugs at more than 2 billion rials.”
