Documentary “Water, wind, bread” at the Turkish Golden Saffron Festival
The documentary “Water Wind the Bread” directed by Mehdi Zamanpour Kiasari and produced by Somayeh Zeraatkar and Mehdi Zamanpour Kiasari became one of the five short films in the short section of the 23rd Turkish Golden Saffron Documentary Festival.
Theater News Base: The Talabi Saffron Festival will be held in the traditional city of Safranblu in Turkey, which is known as the city of Saffron, from June 4 to June 7 (June 17 to 21).
“Water, wind, soil, bread” is a colorful and delicate narration of the life of Abolfazl and Satyash, two children of Fahraji who experience different lives in the twist of fate.
The documentary previously won the Special Jury Prize of the Children and Adolescents Section of the Dutch IDFA Documentary Film Festival and the Best Film Award of the Juvenile Section of the Polish Millennium Documentary Film Festival. Greece, Zagreb Docs Documentary Festival Croatia, Hungary Media Media Festival, Seoul South Korea Children’s Film Festival, Zurich Iranian Film Festival, New Zealand Doc Edge Festival, National and International Section of Haghighat Film Festival.
The international distribution of the film is the responsibility of the Seventh Art Institute under the direction of Alireza Shahrokhi.
