According to Mehr news agency, Reza Murad Sahrai, Acting Minister of Education, said about the schools his children are studying in, “My son is studying in Shahid School, which is a public school and is for people who are teachers themselves or who are appointed as volunteers. Schools have privileges and my son also has the provincial position of Azan, who is a student in this school.

Referring to the educational quality of public schools, he said: I proposed a program to the representatives of the Islamic Council in which I outlined the evolution of education around nine axes; One of the most important of these is the school. I believe that we should return to school with the idea that, God willing, we will be the key to this transformation. Transformation center, school; The place of transformation is the class and the agent of transformation is also the teacher. Public schools should be managed in such a way that people’s first choice for their children’s education is public school.

Acting Minister of Education said: We have to work on public schools, this will be one of our central plans in the new administration of education. If public schools are ranked, which is emphasized in the document of fundamental transformation, the focus will be on education, all countries that progressed worked on education, and in those countries, the basis of transformation in society is education.

Sahrai said: We must return to education to solve our problems, if cultural work is done in education, social damage will be reduced. The path to having a strong Iran is education and strong teachers, and without the help of education, this is not possible, this is also stated in the fundamental transformation document.

Referring to the budget of the Ministry of Education, he continued: The issue of the budget is an important issue and there is a lot of dissatisfaction about it. This is the main challenge of education because now 97.5% of the budget is spent on personnel matters; We have to spend as much money for cultural work as for other works, so we need a national agreement to strengthen education. Education has progressed compared to the previous years and before the revolution, and many problems of education can be solved by itself. We need to strengthen the educational calendar, resources, classroom and teacher. Reforming the education system, from education to assessment, productivity and education resources, is the responsibility of this ministry. Education can do many things if it wants to strengthen itself from within.

The structure of education needs transformation

Acting Minister of Education said: Today’s structure of education is not different from the past, but the world around it has changed. The largest government institution is education, if the capacity of this ministry acts as a device and organization, it will create wealth within itself.

Emphasizing that transformation starts from within education, he pointed out: Productivity is a great capacity for education. We have been talking about the lack of budget for years, but we have not given a solution. Creativity in management is important. Outside of education, it is also important to change the view of managers towards this ministry.

Sahraei added: the president considers any expenditure on education as an investment and the government allocated 42 funds for the rating of teachers, because he believes that any expenditure on education is an investment and this investment guarantees the strengthening of other areas. .

Acting Minister of Education added: I say to the managers of the country to strengthen education in order to have a strong Iran so that Iran becomes strong. Teachers are also important in education, the social capital of the country and our noblest class are teachers.

He added: The Minister of Education should start his work from the school and establish a relationship between the school, home, mosque and neighborhood so that the environment of education is formed properly.

Emphasizing that the capacity of the schools should be used, he said: Schools are closed during the summer and free time, but all cultural institutions should make schools the point of education. Therefore, we predicted 10,000 schools this year, but we can also increase the number of these schools.

The Acting Minister of Education said about Farhangian University of Teacher Education and Training: In my proposed program to the Islamic Council, I presented 8 programs, of which the fundamental transformation document will be one of the main programs. The transformation document is an expert document with a high capacity, which remains in the opinion level. This document requires legal and institutional mapping, because the implementation of the transformation document requires the participation of other institutions, and with these mappings, the participation of other institutions and institutions can be benefited.

Saying that the transformation document needs school and media maps, Sahrai said: The document has six sub-systems that we should plan based on. To implement this document, a comprehensive software must be written and the document can be implemented in this software.

In education, I will pursue the Supreme Leader’s agenda

Stating that the second axis of my programs is teacher training, he said: In the 70s, we had about 521 teacher training centers. Farhangian University also started working in 2019. Our main idea and goal is to recruit all teachers from Tarbiat Moalem University, namely Farhangian and Shahid Rajaei University.

He stated that from 1990 to 1400, about 504 thousand teachers entered education, of which about 20% were through these two universities. He added: Farhangian University has a space problem, so since last year, in the Cultural Revolution Council, we raised the issue of quality to the university, so that all academic institutions return to Farhangian University, and the buildings of the University of Applied Sciences belonging to the executive bodies are at the disposal of the university for a period of time and in line with optimal use. Cultivators should be placed.

Acting Minister of Education said: “Our desire is that Farhangian University takes 40,000 students so that it can provide 40,000 teachers to education every year.” This number is now 20 thousand people. This year, we have a special entrance exam for teacher training, which is a new and national work. Also, with the help of another university, we are training students in 5 fields so that they can be recruited to become teachers.

Sahraei stated: We have set several goals for Farhangian University, and the realization of these goals requires physical space in this university, so the problem of space in Farhangian University must be solved, and in order to achieve this, we need a national agreement to use the existing property of the government. to optimize, and accordingly, the quality of the teacher training university will increase in the new management period.

He added: I didn’t do anything else at Farhangian University except following the Supreme Leader’s orders. It’s the same in education, but we need the help of all institutions for this follow-up.

Teachers are the main capital of the education system

He said: Teachers are the main capital of the education system, so we have a special program for teachers’ livelihood, dignity and authority. One of these cases is the establishment of the National Center for Human Capital Empowerment of Education. Among the other programs will be the efficiency of the management system of education, educational justice, focusing on the school and paying attention to the new financial system, family and space and equipment.

Sahraei said: the educational space is the third teacher and a dimension of learning is formed based on space and environment. Architecture plays an important role in a person’s education. In our country, in addition to the Islamic dimension, we have local and national architecture, the modernization organization has a plan that has all kinds of building plans by architects, and the local, Iranian Islamic model of schools in each region is clear.

Final exams are as sensitive and important as entrance exams; But we don’t have the support of all the facilities of the country, such as entrance exams

Acting Minister of Education said: elements of Iranian identity should also be used in schools and according to the order of the Supreme Leader; “The school environment should be exciting” so we have a special program to build schools in each region that are suitable for the environment.

He continued: Space and equipment are directly related to learning, and new educational systems have come to discuss and solve problems, so this matter has been taken into account in the document under system and space.

He said about the law on the effect of educational records on entrance exams and conducting final exams: When I took charge of education, we had some serious challenges. The first challenge was the ranking of the teachers, during which all the people got their ranks and we are currently investigating the objections to the assigned ranks. And finally, we will revise the rating regulations.

The option proposed by the Ministry of Education continued: The final exam is effective with a 40% cut-off factor in the entrance exam, and this law is to help students and education, because during the three hours of the entrance exam, students spend their whole lives on the exam. They said that it had nothing to do with education.

Emphasizing that education and assessment go hand in hand, Sahrai said: The assessment organization will hold the entrance exam in two days and all the facilities of the country will be mobilized to hold the entrance exam, and sufficient funds will be provided to the assessment organization for this work, but the final exams It is held with the same sensitivity in education and during a process, but we do not have the support that is measured from the organization.

The Acting Minister of Education said: We have 25 days of final exams, of which we hold 46 final exams, the assessment organization has 1,739 exam areas for the entrance exam, and education has 5,000 exam areas, so the safety of such an exam depends on the skill of the education department. And it requires a lot of experience.

He emphasized: “Our test is safe. It is not important to publish the question after the test, but the question should not be leaked before the test. Therefore, we have taken special measures and use signal detectors, etc.

Acting Minister of Education said: “Taking pictures of the questions is not leaking, this is publishing the question, so I assure the families that we are careful enough in this discussion.”
