According to Mehr news agency, Yusuf Nouri said during his visit to the earthquake-affected areas of Khoi city: Out of 470 schools in Khoi, some schools have been seriously damaged, some need to be strengthened and some need to be repaired.
Referring to the presence of benefactors and a part of the institutions and organization for the renovation and equipping of the country’s schools, the Minister of Education added: “Part of these damages will be removed, which must be done quickly.”
Nouri stated: The governorate has done essential work with its good cooperation, and we are working hand in hand in the Ministry of Education and the executive headquarters of Farman Imam (RA), the Mustafafan Foundation, the Ministry of Oil, and also dear donors. it God willing Let’s finish the renovation and restoration of educational centers as soon as possible.
Emphasizing that students should not stay away from education under any circumstances, he said: In places where camps and accommodation spaces are intended for schools, they should choose a part as a classroom.
The Minister of Education stated: We request teachers and students to pay attention only to the matters notified by the crisis headquarters so that there is no stress for the citizens in such a situation.
During this visit, the Chairman of the Education Commission of the Parliament added: “We will consider a significant amount for the budget of the earthquake-affected area and for the construction of the destroyed building.”
It should be noted that the Minister of Education, along with the Chairman of the Education, Research and Technology Commission of the Parliament and the General Directors of Education of East and West Azerbaijan, visited the educational spaces of the earthquake-affected areas of Khoy.
