According to Mehr reporter, in the specialized meeting of export development strategies of the cooperative sector of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mehdi Maskani, the deputy of cooperatives of the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare, said: There are good capacities in the country for the expansion of cooperative companies. Knowing about these capacities is an important issue.

He added: It is necessary to circulate information in this area. Information helps to move forward in a cheaper and more transparent way.

He said: In the cooperative sector, export is relevant because cooperatives have small and medium production and middle circles can help export the products of this sector.

The Deputy Cooperative of the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare continued: I believe that in an economy that is attacked by sanctions, small business models can be more successful than large business models, which is one of the examples of small business models of cooperative companies.

He said: Success in this sector requires several preconditions; First, to equip ourselves with the latest world knowledge and be able to have transparency at the highest level. Another thing is to pay attention to the capacity of border cooperatives that have been forgotten. Currently, only 10% of this capacity is used.

He continued: Another issue is the activation of specialized clusters.

In the end, Maskani said: This year, for the first time, a cooperative company was selected for the best export award for entrepreneurs. Also, the head of Trade Development Organization has given a favorable promise to invite cooperative companies to the export award of this organization.
