Sardar Hamidi, stating that in the first six months of the year, 110,000 light vehicles and 19,000 heavy vehicles have been enforced in the discussion of air pollution, said: “For controls, we must move towards mechanization and systematization.”

Greater Tehran Road Police Chief added: 70% of pollution sources are related to mobile pollutants and the public transport fleet has a key role in this sector.

Dr. Rafiei said: “The problem of air pollution is a solvable problem and only management is needed, and this issue should be connected to each other like a chain of devices so that they can perform their duties well.”

He added: “We ask the meteorologist that in the days when the inversion phenomenon occurs, good and timely information must be provided as in the past, and also the power plants must not use diesel fuel these days.”

“The issue of worn-out taxis is being pursued vigorously, and we will be demanding and want to know why a small number of these taxis do not provide services and are not available to the public and citizens,” he said.
