From tomorrow, we will see a wave of passenger returns / unprecedented restrictions on Haraz and Chalous roads

According to Fars News Agency’s tourism correspondent, Sardar Teymour Hosseini, Deputy Chief of Rahoor Naja Police, said on the sidelines of the First Vice President’s visit to the Central Travel Services Coordination Headquarters: “This year, we faced a 47% increase in traffic on the country’s roads compared to last year.”

He said that the provinces of Mazandaran, Gilan and Khorasan Razavi were the most destinations for travel this year, he said: winter conditions prevailing in most parts of the country made us have a full-fledged winter mission during Nowruz.

Sardar Hosseini said that the reason for the decrease in accidents on Nowruz this year was two important factors and added: “The first factor was the will and determination of the government and proper synergy between all agencies. We were unaware of the depth of the axis.

Rahoor Naja police deputy stated that 552 people lost their lives in road accidents from March 16, 2014 to the day before yesterday. It has also decreased by 6%.

“Most of the provinces that involved us were the northern provinces, so we had to impose a 12-day curfew on the Chalous and Haraz roads, which was unprecedented,” he said.

“About 45% of the passengers have returned,” he said. “55% of the passengers are still living in different provinces. We will face a wave of returns from tomorrow, but the main return is from April 4 to 4, which is on April 4.” We will see a weight.
