Handicraft cooperatives are supported to participate in exhibitions – Mehr news agency Iran and world’s news

According to Mehr reporter, Mehdi Maskani, on Friday morning, while visiting the South Khorasan booth at the International Tourism and Handicrafts Exhibition in Tehran, pointed out his interest in South Khorasan province and added: despite the relative interest and familiarity of the province, in visiting this exhibition with Global registration effect Geopark Tabas and Asbadhai I met Nehbandan.

The Deputy of Cooperative Affairs of the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare said: In the cooperative sector, there are 3,500 handicraft cooperatives in the country, most of them are in the southern, eastern and low-income provinces of the country.

Pointing out that women are the main members and workers of these handicraft cooperatives, he added: One of the main policies of the ministry is to support this sector in the form of tariffs and legal notes in the 1402 budget decrees in the memorandum of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Tourism. We hope that these actions will be implemented in the joint working group between the two ministries.

He said: supporting handicraft cooperatives to participate in various exhibitions is on the agenda, and every cooperative that has the conditions to participate in international exhibitions will be supported by the vice president of cooperatives.
