Answering questions about the Vienna nuclear talks, the Iranian president said: “Iran has taken the Vienna talks to return to the 2015 nuclear deal very seriously and the obstacle to returning to this agreement is Washington’s refusal to adhere to its provisions. »

“What we have seen so far is a violation of American commitments,” he said, referring to the Trump administration’s decision to formally withdraw from the agreement. “The United States has officially violated the treaty.”

“The European parties to the treaty – France, Germany and the United Kingdom – have not fulfilled their obligations under the UN Security Council by failing to take appropriate new measures to counter the United States’ breach of the agreement,” he added.

“The International Atomic Energy Agency has stated 15 times that Iran has complied with its obligations and that Iran has complied with its obligations,” he said. “If the parties are ready to lift the sanctions, the ground is fully prepared for an agreement on nuclear issues,” he said.
