If the annoying wall of Semnan caravanserai is destroyed, people will breathe

According to Aria Heritage Report, quoting the public relations of the General Directorate of Heritage, Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts of Semnan Province, Engineer Seyed Ezatollah Zarghami today, Thursday, November 4, 1400, during a visit to Shah Abbasi Caravanserai in the center of Semnan, which is to be transferred to “When we remove the walls, people breathe,” Farhangi said. “This event plays an important role in attracting tourists and boosting the vitality among the citizens.”
“A fence could be built around the building of the General Directorate of Prisons to secure the building and the caravanserai could be vacated,” he continued.
“He will consult with President Seyyed Ibrahim Raisi and related ministers to resolve this issue,” Zarghami said.
The Minister of Heritage, Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts said: “The liberation of the caravanserai in the center of Semnan is a popular demand and its release from the walls is encouraging for the citizens.”
Shah Abbasi Caravanserai located in Saadi Square in the center of Semnan was once one of the properties of the country’s prisons organization and was used as Semnan Prison.
Last year, Semnan prison was moved out of the city, and on the second day of February 1999, the then head of the judiciary, during a visit to Semnan province, ordered the release of this caravanserai and its transfer to Semnan municipality.
The historical caravanserai of Semnan is located in the city of Semnan as one of the 999 caravanserais built during the reign of Shah Abbas Safavid and is 400 years old, which was nationally registered in 1352.
