Iran’s Ministry of Health’s readiness to transfer hospital building experiences to Iraq

According to the Fars news agency’s health group, Saleh al-Hasnawi, Iraq’s health minister, who arrived in Iran at the official invitation of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Ministry of Health at the head of a high-ranking delegation, yesterday after meeting with the health minister, Dr. Ainullahi. Medical treatment and education of our country, came to Hazrat Mahdi (AS) hospital and met with Dr. Rahimi, Deputy Director of Management and Resources Development of the Ministry of Health.

In this visit, which was accompanied by Dr. Niknam, the Director General of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Kwannati, the President of Tehran University of Medical Sciences, and a group of officials, various aspects of the achievements and progress of the Islamic Republic of Iran in various fields of medical sciences reached the attention and opinion of the Iraqi Minister of Health.

In this meeting, Rahimi, Deputy Director of Management and Resources Development of the Ministry of Health, emphasized the need for joint cooperation between the two countries of Iran and Iraq in the field of health and said: There are very good fields for cooperation between the two countries, especially in the field of logistics and human resources.

He called the Islamic Republic of Iran the leader in the development of healthcare infrastructure among the countries in the region and said: Technical and engineering knowledge, along with other achievements of the health system, is one of the strengths of the Iranian Ministry of Health.

Referring to the many capacities that exist in the field of health between the two countries, he pointed out: Taking advantage of Iran’s experiences in the field of hospital construction is one of the subjects where it is possible to share experiences and transfer knowledge to the country of Iraq.

The deputy director of development of management and resources of the Ministry of Health called the creation of common markets in the field of health between the countries of Iran and Iraq as a suitable capacity that can be used well.
