According to the Mehr reporter, the Iranian national volleyball team lined up in the semi-final match of the Asian Championship today, Saturday, at 10:30 against the Chinese team, in continuation of the Asian Championship.
In this match, the national team managed to cross the Chinese barrier with a result of 3 to 1 and reach the final match. The final match will be held tomorrow, Sunday, and the winner of the match between Japan and Chinese Taipei will be Iran’s opponent.

Milad Ebadipoor, Meysam Salehi, Amir Hossein Tokhteh, Ali Asghar Mojarad, Amin Ismailnejad, Javad Karimi and Mohammad Reza Hazratpour Yaran were the starters for the Iranian national team. Due to the injury of Saber Kazemi before the start of the game due to an unintentional collision with one of the players, Ismail Nejad was included in the team from the beginning.
In the first set, the two volleyball teams of Iran and China played an equal game and did not have an advantage over each other, but at the end of the set, Ali Asghar Mojarad’s strong defenses created a difference in points to ease the national team in the crucial final points.
The Chinese had a stormy start at the beginning of the second set and created a difference of 5 points in the game to pass the first technical break time 8-5. China’s good services made it difficult to get Iran to increase the points difference. In the end, the second set was accompanied by a 25-17 victory for China. This was the first set that the Iranian national team lost from the beginning of the tournament so that the two teams could be equal in a number of sets.
In the third set, China took a 5-point lead, followed by China due to a refereeing error and low video check quality, but the national team won the first technical break 8-7 with 3 consecutive points. Then the Chinese once again increased the game to 12 points and advanced to 17 points. Saber Kazemi’s brilliance in service and spec put Iran ahead 22 to 18 times. In the end, Iran won the third set 25-22.
The fourth set, at the beginning of the game between the two teams, went up to 7 times points, but once again, Saber Kazemi’s flawless performance helped the team and disturbed China’s focus to increase the difference in points in favor of Iran. The national team won the second technical break 16-10. Saber Kazemi, who suffered a minor injury to his nose, has changed the course of the game in Iran’s favor since he was on the pitch. Finally, the national team defeated China with the brilliance of Saber Kazemi.
According to the Mehr reporter, the 21st round of the Asian Volleyball Championship has started on September 12 with the participation of the top 16 teams in Asia in four groups of four, hosted by Japan, and will continue until September 18.
