According to the Fars News Agency Society Reporter; The Minister of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare, Hojjatullah Abdul Maleki, stated about the decisions taken to help rare patients in a joint meeting with the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly: “This meeting was held to help rare patients and while covering rare patients in Budget 1401, for the remaining 1400 months, also decided that the issue of health insurance coverage for these patients would be on the agenda of the High Insurance Council, and the insurance coverage for these patients would definitely increase.

The Minister of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare said: “We will definitely implement any decision taken by the Supreme Insurance Council to cover the medical expenses of rare patients in the Social Security Organization.” Identify support for rare patients, especially those in need of rehabilitation, although some of these patients are now covered by welfare and receiving services.

Abdul Maleki added: “I promise that in the 1401 budget, we will definitely provide the necessary funding to cover rare patients who need rehabilitation services.”

The Minister of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare said that the Social Security Organization is fully prepared to fully implement the resolutions of the Supreme Insurance Council regarding the coverage of the treatment of these people.

He reminded about the time of holding the meeting of the Supreme Insurance Council: the chairmanship of the Supreme Insurance Council is with the Minister of Health. He agrees with this, and we as members fully agree, and we hope that this meeting will take place next week, and of course, instructions must be prepared, and we will implement them as soon as the instructions are communicated.
